Tragic Crash Near Elkader Uses Torch to Free Victim
Dorothy Bruckner, 22, of Guttenberg died when her car collided with a Chicago truck on Highway 13 near Elkader. Mrs. William Ennes, 28, of Guttenberg, was critically injured. Edmond Olson, the truck driver, escaped serious harm. The wreck required an acetylene torch to recover Miss Bruckner's body.
