Reno Nevada September 16 Pilot Eaton in control of a United States air mail plane departed for Elko 200 miles east and has not been heard from Authorities fear he missed his course and landed in the Nevada desert The plane carries 400 pounds of mail and every Nevada point has been wired or telephoned in a search but no word has been received.

Wreck Injures Five En Route to Columbus Junction Fair
Mrs. Manford Wilcox and H C Finney of near Ainsworth were badly hurt when the Wilcox car was struck by a southbound auto at the J M Stewart corner on the White Way east of Ainsworth. The other vehicle fled unharmed. the Wilcox family and little daughter Helga were in the car. Mrs Wilcox received neck pain and head cuts. Finney sustained injuries.

Mrs Stanhope Dies at Home in Toledo
Mrs J T Stanhope dies at her Toledo Ohio home after years of residence in the city and earlier life in Omaha Manchester and Sioux City. The funeral will be at the Anderson home with burial in Woodlawn. Survived by sisters Elizabeth McLaughlin Grace Anderson and others and a brother Joseph Eagar. An only son died in infancy and Alice Stanhope is the surviving daughter. She was a Methodist and a devoted home maker.
