Convict Four In Murder Of John Looney
Rock Island, Sept. 14. Anthony W. Pillbure George H. Holsapple George Buckley and Dan Drest were found guilty of the murder of John Looney by a circuit court jury. Pillbure sentenced to twenty years and dis associates from one to twenty years. The trial followed a three week investigation by Attorney General E J Brundage. Young Looney, 22, bodyguard of his father a Rock Island News publisher, was killed in a Market square street fight between rival gangs last October.
