Open cockpit plane crash injures two Washington men

In Grand Valley Colo the Project Rulison nuclear explosion damaged a mountain cabin and courthouse bricks six miles away. The 850 ton device buried 8442 feet aimed to free 1.2 billion dollars in natural gas while ground radiation was expected to dissipate in six months. The blast measured 5.5 on the Richter scale at the Colorado School of Mines, 70 miles from ground zero.
