Last evening she departed for Chicago where she will study music under a renowned master for the year. Other items note Max wel l funeral services and pastors on tour, with visits by Samuel Hall and wife to Des Moines and W H Breed party to Ainsworth.
The body of a man about 40, 5 feet 3 inches, 160 pounds, brown hair and mustache was found under a large oak west of the tracks near the overhead bridge. A contract dated February 6, 1897, and signed W. Kenworthy and Frank Lane ties him to coal mining work. deputies and a coroner's jury held an investigation and ruled death from unknown causes possibly linked to the contract.
