Five injured in two car crash near Kalona Iowa
Five persons were injured in a two car collision three miles east of Kalona on highway 22 Thursday afternoon. Ervin Donald Butterbaugh Keosauqua spun on a muddy spot and was struck by Lester Verly Hootman Douds. Hootman and three passengers suffered injuries. Emma Hootman Pauline Teal and Norwood Teal were listed with multiple injuries. All were taken to University Hospital Iowa City. Butterbaugh released. Charges pending.
