Navy recruiting drive to enlist local men in Burlington
Recruiter B Collins schedules appearances in the city on September 16 offering Navy enlistment with training, pay, and benefits. Navy service provides clothing, housing, meals, dental and medical care, with pay from 33 to 126 dollars monthly and options for two to four year terms at preferred training stations. Also notes four local students slated for college this fall at Illinois and Iowa schools.
