Youth fined 95 after high speed chase in town
A 19 year old Moline youth Larry L Moore was fined 95 after a noon chase through the east part of town. Officer Ken Bauer followed as Moore sped through stop signs at West Madison East Madison and S 4th then near rail yards and East Washington before finally being captured near the Waco Drive-In for reckless driving.

Washington Man Held in Cedar Rapids Jail
Lester A. Stout 26 of Washington was arrested after an 80 mph chase in Cedar Rapids. He allegedly sideswiped a car, was intoxicated, and found with a .22 pistol and a hunting knife. He faces intoxication leaving the scene and failing to control, with no concealed weapon charge due to a legal technicality. Stout is held in Cedar Rapids county jail.
