Ex-Capt. Alfred Dreyfus was found guilty by a Rennes court with a five to two vote. He received a ten year imprisonment sentence. The outside crowd, largely anti Dreyfusards, cheered the army as the verdict was read, signaling potential unrest.

Company E marked the Spanish American war homecoming with a ball at Armory Fort last night.
