The Rev. A. J. Landers, newly called pastor from Eagle Grove, disappeared during the night before his introductory sermon at the First Baptist Church in Clinton Iowa. His wife was told he could not bear his troubles, and the family fears he is mentally unsettled. He had arrived from Bay Grove a week earlier, causing a sensation among congregants gathered to hear him.
