Funeral Service for George Simmering Private
Funeral services for George Simmering, who died yesterday afternoon, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Jones funeral home. Rev. Carl W. Klein will conduct a private service. Burial will be at Elm Grove cemetery. George Henry Simmering, born April 8, 1908 in Manson Iowa, was the son of John and Tena Simmering. He moved with his family to Washington County as a child and helped run the family dairy. He died after a bout of infantile paralysis, with his parents and siblings listed among the mourners.
