Five Hundred Tickets Sold for Rock Island Trip to Columbus Junction
Nearly five hundred tickets were sold for a Rock Island run from here to Columbus Junction to the fair. Two extra coaches were added to the Firefly to handle the large crowd. Ward McCutcheon Harvey Meek Floyd Roe Lloyd Moothart and Robert Cherry went to the Junction to attend the fair. Remember the candy box to be given away at the Star tonight.
