Charred body found in pickup near Lake MacBride
A severely burned body was found in the front seat of a pickup truck near a Lake MacBride camping area in Johnson County. Sheriff Gary Hughes said investigators from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation were called in. The victim was unidentified and the sex could not be determined. Two motorcyclists reported seeing the truck Friday but did not stop. the body was found Monday morning near Marina 218. The case remains under probe.
