The Populists of the county held a convention at the Salvation Army hall with about fifty attendees. John O Laughlin and John Hesler were named for Representative and Board member, while McFarland for Treasurer. Sheriff and Superintendent seats left vacant. A county chairmanship was set for M C Little with Wm. Gentzler as secretary.
