In Newburek New York on Broadway a steam canizer exploded at Thomas C Gould’s store injuring two Seeber women and damaging the shop. Mrs Seeber aged 90 was trapped and cut about the face while her daughter Henrietta seeber was struck by debris and stunned. The blast blew out walls and ceiling and sent a machine weighing five tons hurtling 200 feet.
