In Des Moines today a vice squad raided two second floor apartments and busted poker games, arresting seventeen men. They pleaded not guilty before Municipal Judge C. S. Centerville Iowa Eloise Scarlett 32 Batavia was found guilty by an all women jury of first degree manslaughter in the death of her two children on April 17.
