North Central Iowa to Build Hemp Cordage Plants
About 15 processing plants will be built in north central Iowa to manufacture hemp cordage next year. E A Kimball chair of the Iowa industrial and defense commission says farmers will raise around 69000 acres of hemp to supply the plants.
