Mrs Fidelia Taylor Dies at 90 in Crawfordsville
Fidelia Smylie Taylor aged 90 died Sunday night at the United Presbyterian home in Washington after months of declining health. Born Sept 16 1864 in Washington County she lived most of her life in Crawfordsville and moved to the home Jan 1 1954. She married S G Taylor in 1895 who died in 1934. Burial is in Crawfordsville cemetery with service at Federated Presbyterian church. Survivors include sister Sadie McCleary and brother William J Smylie plus nieces and nephews.

Florence Wilcox 94 formerly of Columbus Junction died Saturday at her daughter’s home in Kansas City Missouri. Funeral service was held today at Stacy funeral home Columbus Junction with burial in Columbus City cemetery. She was born February 20 1860 near Columbus Junction to John and Florence Russell and married to Frank Wilcox who preceded her in death.
