George W. Young aged 81 died October 10 at his Melbourne home after a month long illness. The Fairfield-born man had suffered years of declining health. Surviving children include Mrs. Paul Coleson of Rosedale California Clarence Young of Waterloo Oscar M. Young of Melbourne and Mrs. McFadden here. Mrs. McFadden has been with her father in Melbourne for nearly a month. The Young family formerly resided in Fairfield.

Fear Sabotage Report Ordered at Ford River Rouge Plant
DETROIT Oct. 15 A survey to prevent sabotage in defense production at the Ford River Rouge plant has been ordered by the FBI. Ford personnel director Harry Bennett said agents have visited the plant where 80 percent of Ford production is centered to begin the survey of its manifold operations.
