FBI returns Bobby Greenlease killers to Kansas City in chains
The kidnappers Carl Austin Hall and Bonnie Heady were transported in heavy restraints from St. Louis to Jackson County Jail in Kansas City. U S District Attorney Edward Scheufler said no immediate action would be taken and the case would proceed slowly with possible grand jury indictments. Hall had admitted shooting Bobby and the two suspects face possible death in Missouri's gas chamber under U S law and Missouri statute. The trial is expected in Kansas City where the boy was abducted.
