Death of Mrs Robert Anderson on the Heights
Mrs Robert Anderson died at 10 a m after three weeks illness from bowel congestion. Born in Fleming County Kentucky she came to Iowa in 1849 and leaves a grieving husband and many relatives. A sister of Mrs A Conger Mrs Col Palmer and Mr J H Young she was active in the United Presbyterian church. Funeral from the home on the heights tomorrow at 3 p m with friends mourning yet hopeful for her eternally noble life.

Fairfield Fire cases big blaze in Burnett hardware
A severe Fairfield Iowa fire last night began in the lime house of Holton lumber and spread to the Burnett hardware building near the C B Q freight house. Firemen fought hard for nearly an hour to control the flames. Losses included Holton Lumber Co stock and Burnett hardware, with substantial insurance coverage and damage to the building and contents.
