Reduction in Iowa Farm Land Values Secured by Iowa Farm Bureau Federation

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation led a successful campaign to lower farm land valuations, saving farmers over 1.5 million dollars in taxes. Washington County saw per acre value drop from 84.90 to 77.08, a 7.82 reduction, translating to about 11.57 dollars less in tax per quarter section.
