In Le Claire Iowa on Monday Mr and Mrs J W Van Sant celebrated their seventieth wedding anniversary. The couple aged 92 and 90 have five children and many grandchildren. Van Sant formerly ran a Rock Island boat-building business and now co owns the Van Sant Musser Transportation Co with river boats. Governor Shaw of Iowa attended the event.
