Two Youths Held For Hunting Licenses Warned
Two Washington county youths were picked up by Game Warden Johnson of Sigourney for hunting without licenses. Their guns were confiscated and they were ordered to appear before Justice J. B. Bowee. Death of Fort Collins Youth In Freight Train Accident
Donald Jackson a 17 year old Fort Collins high school student died from injuries after falling from a freight train at Loveland. The 10 million Moscow Cedar River dam project was killed in the Iowa House by a 66 to 39 vote after two days of debate. County Churches Aid Needy With Harvest Sunday Gifts
Washington county churches donated food clothing and cash to aid families in need after Harvest Sunday. Eicher Mennonite church sent a truckload of apples cabbage carrots corn meal canned fruit and dressed chickens.
