Woman Learns Lost Son’s Skeleton Found in California
Mrs. Mary Ann Combs of Ogden Iowa received word that the skeleton of her son William J. Combs was found in the Santa Barbara mountains California. Identity was established by the gun the utility engineer carried when he disappeared while deer hunting in September 1936. A sister Mrs H J Wills of Des Moines is among survivors. Combs worked for Santa Barbara Telephone and Telegraph Co after leaving Ogden in 1921. Cremation and burial will be in Santa Barbara.
