Des Moines UPI report says Ron ald M. Stump a University of Iowa Phi Beta Kappa graduate convicted in 1961 of killing Michael Daly in Des Moines has a delay granted to finish his current school term. Stump 28, free on 25000 bond after serving five years of an 85 year sentence, was ordered retried or released after a 1968 appeals ruling. A Navy date had been set for the second trial.
