He died Friday night at the Bloomfield home of his brother in law James Wisler after a short illness. He was born November 1, 1886 in Brighton and spent life there. He married Etta Whisler May 19, 1895. they celebrated their golden wedding three years ago. William O. Rule aged 34 of Washington died in a car overturning one mile north of Curtis late Saturday night. His wife suffered serious cuts and bruises and was taken to University Hospital in Iowa City before being brought home.
