Denver reports Ralph Johnstone died after his biplane fell 800 feet at Overland Park. He attempted to right the aircraft during a spiral descent, but it swerved and somersaulted, his legs neck and back broken, bones protruding through clothing. He was 30, wife and two children in New York.
