Army Orders 10 Day Christmas Leaves for Continental Soldiers

Washington AP The army orders 10 day Christmas leaves for as many soldiers as possible in the continental United States to allow homeward travel. Training activities are suspended from noon December 22 through January 1 while officers decide how many can be spared. The air force and navy will implement similar leave plans for personnel stationed in this country.
