Washington November 10 Up the 1931 American corn crop was estimated at 2,674,269,000 bushels in a report by the department of agriculture. A yield of 25.2 bushels per acre was indicated. The quality was 85 percent of normal. Old corn on farms November 1 was 92,837,000 bushels, 44 percent of the crop. Other crops for 1921 included 200,000 tons hay wild, 35,500,000 tons alfalfa, and apples total 220,000,000 bushels.
