Des Moines reports William Boyd is to stand trial November 22 for the murder of Deputy Sheriff Dewey Marshall. Boyd surrendered under heavy guard after being sought since October 20 when he wounded Deputy Grover Brent in Missouri. Brent remains hospitalized.

Iowa’s creamery butter production for the year ending June 29 1926 is expected to reach 175 million pounds, 10 million more than the previous year. Roy Glick Dies in New Mexico Hospital
Roy Glick son of Mr and Mrs George Glick of Davenport died yesterday at Fort Bayard New Mexico where he had treatment for tuberculosis. He was in his early twenties a World War veteran and survived by his wife and daughter Beatrice Jean, his parents and one brother Verle. Burial with military honors will be held in Davenport on Friday after body is brought home.
