Fall From Bridge Proves Fatal To Woman In Columbus Junction
Mrs. Herman Sheridan, 52, died in Hershey hospital after falling from the Rock Island Railroad bridge near Columbus Junction Monday. She sustained a broken shoulder and other injuries when she plunged about thirty feet into the creek bed as a westbound train approached. Born Nellie Gentzler in 1881, she was married in 1907 and survived by husband Herman Sheridan, two daughters, and several siblings. Funeral and burial are planned for Columbus Junction.
