In Jerusalem on November 5 British authorities released eight Jewish leaders from Latroun detention and freed 120 Jews and 29 Arabs. The dusk to dawn curfew was lifted across Palestine amid concern that extremist groups may escalate sabotage and Arab revolt follows.
