One hundred forty five children in Ainsworth raised 3940 for UNICEF during Halloween. The event was sponsored by the Methodist and United Presbyterian Churches. Jack McMillan of Sikeston Missouri slept in a semi sleeper when Ralph Scudder started down highway 214 near Crawfordsville.
