Word has been received of the death of Garret Finley of Los Angeles California. Mrs Finley is the former Laura Mae Huber and her mother has been in their home for two months. The body will be brought to Iowa for burial and funeral arrangements are not yet definite.

Rising dough turns into two loads for Cambridge driver
Leon Bushmick, a Cambridge trucker, hauls sour dough to a Woburn pig farm. The dough kept rising spilling onto the street as police called for a second truck. Two loads were delivered and the pigs remained the only happy ones.

George Lister sixty seven year old Des Moines man was found shot in a wooded area east of Knoxville. State agents ruled the death a murder caused by a .22 caliber rifle after deputies initially suspected heart failure while searching for him after he went hunting last Tuesday. Lister had been hunting with a double barreled shotgun at the time of his death.
