Legion Adopts Hands off Policy on Soldiers Bonus
Minneapolis, May 31 The American Legion has a hands off policy toward congressional legislation on the soldiers bonus. National commander Lieut Col Hanford MacNider said at Memorial day exercises that service men would get a bonus if it is short of certain but the adjusted compensation bill is not the legion result.
