Mrs J H Trotman Dies at 90 in Morning Sun Community
Mrs J H Trotman aged 90 died Monday May 25 at Gerry Nursing Home. Born April 13 186% in Knoxville Illinois she lived in Morning Sun most her life with a five year period in Ainsworth. She married Jackson H Trotman in 1885 who died in 1927. They had two children Willa Swan and a daughter living in Washington. Surviving are four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Free Mayer Bond Set at 75000 in Des Moines Murder Case
Walter M. Mayer a 56 year old Santa Fe rancher charged with murdering Des Moines livestock dealer John C Wisdom may post 75000 bond to await trial. Mayer admitted shooting Wisdom in self defense on May 2 at the farm near Des Moines. Prosecution indicated a corporate surety bond would be posted to free him for the fall term starting August 31.
