Priest stabbed after service in Salisbury parish
Salisbury Missouri May 25 Rev Father Joseph E F Lubeley pastor of St Josephs Roman Catholic church was stabbed twice with a pocketknife and perhaps fatally injured by Joseph Scheutte a farmer near Salisbury who is believed to have suddenly become demented. The pastor had concluded the service and was leaving the church when Scheutte rushed on him from behind.
