Big Paper Mills Burned in Ottawa Illinois
The Old Jerusalem paper mill at Marseilles owned by W. D. Boyce of Chicago was nearly destroyed by fire that started in the print paper department. Ottawa firefighters gained control by noon after a morning blaze that caused about 200000 dollars in losses, with 210000 dollars insured for the plant and pulp mill. The finishing room held 10000 dollars in print paper ready for shipment.
