Community notices reflect school events and social gatherings
The Red Brick school near town held a picnic after a day of prizes at the county spelling contest. Several eighth graders posted high averages led by Lucy Bruty. Numerous social events followed, including a bridal shower, prenuptial party, and Fortnightly club meetings, with thanks for support during illness.
