Youngs Move Into New Franklin Home
Franklin Township May 15 Mr and Mrs Elmer Young moved into the home vacated by Mr and Mrs Earl Chorpening after thirty five years and eleven children. Visitors and family details abound with Mothers Day calls, dinners, mushroom foraging, school events, and local tappings of kin across Washington Ottumwa Kalona and Bettendorf. The extended family gathers for meals and social visits as neighbors note planting progress and farm work amid a busy community newsletter setting.
