Allen Allen Guilty and Sentenced to Death in Virginia Courthouse Murders
Floyd Allen, first Hillsville mountaineer tried for Carroll county courthouse slayings, found guilty and to die in the electric chair in Richmond for killing Commonwealth Attorney Foster. Five died in the incident including Judge Massie and Sheriff Webb. two kin Floyd Allen’s sons Claude and Victor to be tried next. Prosecution delays sentence for use as witness in their case.
