Two Washington City Auto Accidents Reported In Weekend
City police logged two accidents on Washington streets causing 1650 in total damages. Teddy R Hendricks West Washington ran a stop sign and hit Lester Stout at East Washington and North Second. Hendricks fined 10 dollars for failure to stop. A second crash at Madison and Marion involved William Walter and Maxine Bain with 250 in damages. Walter charged with failure to yield.

YMCA Learn to Swim Canceled Amid Annual Program

Glen E Farrier 56 died May 16 1965 in Kirksville Missouri. He lived in Corning Iowa formerly Brighton. Funeral Wednesday at 2 p.m. Gould Funeral Home Brighton. Born December 2 1908 at Brighton son of Andy and Lida Farrier. Survived by widow four brothers and three sisters and several inlaws. He worked for Jensen Construction Co of Corning after illness.

Rev J J Pritchard Rites Held At Wayland Church
Rev James Joseph Pritchard 84 died Sunday at Henry County hospital Mt Pleasant. Funeral Tuesday at 2 pm in Wayland Methodist Church with Rev Harold Nichols Rev E S Muller and Dr George Hunt of Sioux City in charge. He lived at Parkview Home Wayland and was a Methodist minister for over 50 years. Born June 11 1880 in County Monaghan Ireland he came to the U S in 1911. Survived by son J Wesley Pritchard Des Moines daughter Mrs Geraldine Rhea Arcata Calif and five grandchildren. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

The Washington County 4 H Camp for youths aged 10 to 13 on January 1, 1965 runs June 14 through 17 at Lake Darling Youth Center. About 100 campers are expected with a May 26 registration deadline.
