Mt Pleasant defeated Washington 2 to 1 in a closely played local baseball game on the diamond. Pollock Wallace sparked a fourth inning run with a safe hit and steals while Frank Alberson retired the side in the seventh. Reedy, McAdam and Nicola contributed key plays as Mt Pleasant rallied in the sixth to take the lead.
