A series of society teas hosted by the Home Missionary society of the Methodist church were held at Mrs T J Harvey and the Brady home with about 14 and 20 attendees respectively. Mrs M J Philpot of Cedar Falls spoke on the W C T U statewide work and future talks are announced. Additional items include a P B E O meeting, a picnic invite, and a Rock Island Presbyterian wedding.

Heights School May Festival Presents Queen and Games
A May festival at Heights School featured the crowning of May Queen Evelyn Wilson with attendants Mary Alice Payne Ava May Scott and crown bearer David Haney. Mr and Mrs John Belville left for Fairfield to attend evangelistic services at the new Methodist church there. The church cost about 150000 dollars and was recently dedicated. A W L L meeting announced a general meeting and luncheon at Mrs C J Wilson’s on June 19 correcting the date from the third Thursday in June.
