Supreme Court Orders Dissolution of Standard Oil

The Supreme Court ordered the dissolution of Standard Oil Company of New Jersey and clarified Sherman antitrust law by distinguishing reasonable from unreasonable restraints. The ruling extends the dissolution period to six months and allows continued interstate commerce during reorganization.
