Four Missing After Ship Explodes in Chesapeake Canal
A coastwise tanker loaded with high octane gasoline exploded and burned after a collision with the freighter Barbar Lykes in the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal near Wilmington Delaware. Four crew members of the tanker Fout were missing and six others injured while divers reported explosions continuing. The freighter Barbar Lykes moved to midstream with bow damage.
