Partly cloudy with possible showers and thunderstorms tonight or Friday. Warmer conditions in the west and central Iowa tonight. O. P. Dede visited Washington to see partner C. E. Mercer who is homebound by illness. Mercer plans to move his family to Oskaloosa.
Mrs J A Boatman of 317 East Second street departed this morning for Washington Iowa to visit relatives.
Local items report fresh jumbies at the Vienna and seats on sale for tonight. Miss Blanche Adams returns home from Ainsworth. Several residents, including Winfield Smouse, George Barrett, and Mrs. P. M. Powelson, travel for business or visits to Burlington, Davenport, Keota, Muscatine, and Ottumwa. Also noted are a polish for scratches sold by J EF McNamara & Son and fresh salted nuts at the Vienna.

Chapter H Albia extends an invitation to the Iowa grand chapter to meet in Albia next year and the invitation is accepted. Also noted is the sudden death of Rev Michael Hennessy pastor of St Marys Catholic church at Storm Lake Iowa.
