A large turnout from ward and junior high schools filled the high school auditorium for a 3 40 p m music week program. The junior high orchestra directed by Miss Helen Coffey opened with Griegs Norwegian Dance and performed Haydns Andante Tschanowsky Song Without Words and Gounod Marche Romaine under June Gorham. The eighth grade boys glee club and seventh grade boys glee club followed with Mrs J F Ream and Miss Bernice Nash directing selections and violin class performances.

W. W. Cherry who died at St. Luke's in Davenport will be buried after funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sherman's funeral home conducted by Rev. D. C. Fulton. He was born December 5, 1857 in Ohio and lived in Washington County after moving from Ohio. Surviving are two daughters, a sister in Oklahoma City and eight grandchildren.
