A severe windstorm near Wellman on May 10 at 7 30 PM tore roofs from a barn owned by Virgil Turnipseed and a large barn belonging to Albert Stransky. It damaged several small buildings, downed trees and poles, and blew out some window lights. A corn crib on Perry Ayers farm was damaged and a car driven by Mr and Mrs Carl T Anderson was blown off the road but occupants unharmed. Moderate rain accompanied the storm.

Judge Denies Writ to Reduce Bond for Insull
